Game developer Gameloft has made a deal with Marvel Entertainment to publish mobile games based on Marvel properties. The exclusive multi-year, multi-product agreement starts 2009 with games based on Spider-Man and Iron Man 2. Spider-Man will be released across all major carrier decks.

Atari has bought publishing rights from Activision Blizzard for a Chronicles of Riddick: Escape at Butcher Bay sequel. The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will release this spring, also Atari has signed a deal with Universal that will allow a continued Riddick franchise. Rumor has it that they’ll also buy the Ghostbusters based game, with a similar franchise deal with Sony.
