In Star Wars: The Clone Wars , among the usual suspects there will be a new character in Padawan, Ahsoka Tano (pictured above). “This young Togruta is eager to prove herself as a worthy Padawan to her bold Master, Anakin Skywalker. Able to wield a lightsaber and pilot a spacecraft with great talent, Ahsoka promises to become a worthy Jedi.”

A full series of The Middleman has been picked up by ABC Family. A secret agency hires an artist, played by Natalie Morales, to fight comic book villains, and Matt Keeslar plays superhero Middleman. Because of the strike no production or launch dates have been set.

Anna Torv, Blair Brown, and Jasika Nicole have been cast as Olivia Warren, Nina Cord, and Astrid, respectively, in Fringe.

A thirteen episode spin off of Crash will be coming to Starz sometime this year. The show will be co-produced by Lionsgate and worked on by the movie version's Paul Haggis, Bobby Moresco, Bob Yari, Don Cheadle, Mark R. Harris, and Tom Nunan. This will be Starz's first dramatic series.

Based on a hi-def web series, SCI FI has given the go ahead for a season of thirteen one hour episodes of Sanctuary. With mostly CGI sets, the show follows a doctor and her protégé as they track down and help strange creatures. Filming starts in March.

Stargate Atlantis goes into production of its twenty episode season this month. “Cherished friends are lost, others are found. New alliances are forged while new races are introduced.”

SCI FI has Doctor Who’s fourth season and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Both will premiere in April.
