May 9, Speed Racer will be released in both conventional and IMAX theaters.

Writer, director, and actor Larry Bishop’s Hell Ride will be out in August of this year. A spaghetti western style movie about rival biker gangs the Victors and the 666ers, it stars Michael Madsen, Eric Balfour, Dennis Hopper, Vinnie Jones, and David Carradine.

My Bloody Valentine will go 3-D in January.

The Dragonball movie’s opening has been pushed from August 15, 2008 to April 3, 2009. The theory behind the change is that it’s probably due to the new date having less competition with The International, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Tropic Thunder, and Wild Child all scheduled for August 15.

Some time this summer (date to be announced) Hammer films will be releasing, for the first time in the US, a four movie DVD boxset with The Terror of the Tongs, Devil Ship Pirates, Pirates of Blood River, and The Stranglers of Bombay. There’s also whispers of another set for just before Halloween.
