Casting

Adrian Brody, Elsa Pataky, and Emmanuelle Seigner have replaced Ray Liotta, Vincent Gallo, and Asia Argento in Dario Argento's Giallo. Filming starts in Torino, Italy, May 12.

After Scarlett Johansem stepped out because the role “skewed younger,” Emma Watson will star in Benjamin Ross’s Napoleon and Betsy. The period drama is about Betsy Balcombe, a young noblewoman who falls in love with Napoleon while he’s in exile on the Isle of St. Helena.

Due to a case of mono, Henry Lee Hopper has been replaced by Max Thierot Wes Craven's 25/8.

Milla Jovovich will star in writer/director Olatunde Osunsanmi's thriller The 4th Kind. "A fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover-up."

Parker Posey and Demi Moore will star in Mitchell Lichtenstein’s indie drama Happy Tears. It’s bout a woman “who returns to her Wisconsin home and must deal with her bitter sister and her father, who suffers from a rare form of dementia.”

Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson have joined Josh Hartnett revenge flick Bunraku. It'll take inspiration from "puppets, origami, comic books, video games and German expressionism." That's quite a mix. It'll shoot in Europe.

Rinko Kikuchi, Ryo Kase, Chiaki Kuriyama, and Shosuke Tanihara will voice in Mamoru Oshii's alternate history war anime The Sky Crawlers.

Richard Gere will play publisher George Putnam, Amelia Earhart’s husband, in the Mira Nair’s Amelia starring Hilary Swank.
