Prequels, Sequels & Remakes

Cowboys for Christ, the sequel/remake to the 1973 The Wicker Man based on a script by Robin Hardy, has been shut down due to lack of finances.

Add Danielle Panabaker, Jared Padalecki, Odette Yustman, Aaron Yoo, and Travis Van Winkle to the Friday the 13th cast.

Jensen Ackles will play Tom, one of the two males leads, in Patrick Lussier's My Bloody Valentine remake.

The Kirk Jones directed Everybody's Fine, remake of Giuseppe Tornotore's Stanno Tutti Bene, will star Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell. De Niro plays a widower who decides to take a road trip to reconnect with his grown children when realizes wife was his only connection to them. Filming starts in Conneticut later this month.

The latest on Wolverine: Scott Adkins has been cast as Weapon XI. Marc Guggenheim has been added as a writer.

David Moscow, Agnes Bruckner, Nelson Lee, Brian Klugman, and Gwendoline Yeo will star in Eric Bross directed prequel Vacancy 2. This time "a new bunch of characters – including a bride and groom - book rooms at the motel from hell. Moscow will play George, the male lead."

Ned Beatty will be voicing in Toy Story 3 for an undisclosed role.
