Battlestar Galactica season four: Edward James Olmos says, "It's devastating. Don't watch this program; it's not an easy ride." Mary McDonnell says President Laura Roslin will have to battle with a recurrence of her cancer.

Smallville executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders say that this season will see Lex Luther go bad permanently. Peterson, "I would say if you are going to watch one episode of Smallville, you need to watch 'Descent.' [The April 17 episode] It is pivotal. It is up there with Clark opening the Fortress of Solitude. It's right up there." Souders, "Lex has had a lot of challenges in his life, and he's sort of gone and sat on that fence all these years. This is the episode he leaps off of it."

After her character apparently died last season, Sarah Wayne Callies will be back as Dr. Sara Tancredi in Prison Break. Executive producer Matt Olmstead said, "Ultimately, we came back after the strike to talk about season four, and that's when a bunch of things kind of came together, and we then had the big conversation. Is Sarah really alive and can we bring her back? And once we opened it up, it happened really quickly."

Marvel and Method Animation have a deal for 26 half hour episodes of Iron Man. The series is already in production, with the first episode due for delivery in a month, and a DVD of selected episodes before the TV show’s premiere following the release of the movie. Co-producers Cinnamon Entertainment were involved with early design and modeling.

Power has optioned controversial web comic Shooting War for mini series development. War's writer Anthony Lappé will write any adaptation and be consulted during production. "Shooting War takes place in the future of the Iraq War and is a powerful commentary on journalism and how the eye of the media affects our perceptions of events."

Japanese anime network Animax has confirmed that Ultraviolet: Code 044, is, in fact, based off the 2006 live action movie Ultraviolet. Osamu Dezaki will supervise animation studios Madhouse and Tezuka Productions, and Akio Sugino will do character design. Romi Paku will voice main character .044, a genetically engineered female warrior with government orders to wipe out a vampire army. It'll premiere July 1 as part of Animax's 10th anniversary.

Ashes to Ashes, BBC One's time travel show, has been picked up for a second season. Filming will begin this summer, and it'll return next year.

Tahmoh Penikett, Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman, and Enver Gjokaj have joined Dollhouse's cast.

Elisha Cuthbert, Johnny Whitworth, and Caterina Scorsone have been cast in NY-LON. Based on the British series of the same name, it follows Edie, a Big Apple-based clerk, and Michael, a London stock broker, who have a cross-continental romance.
