Watchmen vs. Birds at chess in the Library

George Lucas vs. Stormtrooper… Costume maker that is.

Humans vs. Zombies, nerds, and Virginia Tech.

The horror of polyglandular Addison’s disease. Actually, this could make for a good horror film… That'd you'd never be able watch.

Could there be a real Tatooine out there?

Audio interview with Stan Lee.

Japanese eyeglass chain Zoff is carrying glasses based on the different prescription glasses that character Asako Shibasaki wears every episode for new anime series Library War. As an aside, Library War is a show I really want to see: "The action comedy anime adapts Hiro Arikawa's popular novel about battles fought to preserve libraries when a new law threatens to clamp down on freedom of expression in 2019." Promotional trailer (Japanese).

A peek at two of the figures for the Watchmen movie. Look for them January 2009.

While I've never been (Oh, what's the word?) good at it, I do like chess. I also like Legos and Star Wars. Well, this Star Wars themed Lego chess set is quite spiffing. You can be irritating and yell out, "Stay on target!" whenever you move the rook (or as I like to say the 'Castle Guy'). I also like how this one has an Army of Darkness vibe to it.

Hasbro's Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon.

Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, without the birds. It’s called The […].
