Paramount says that Iron man will release 4 hours earlier in select U.S. cities. Details to follow.

Bruce Campbell says that My Name is Bruce will get a theatrical release October 2008, and a DVD release January 2009. (Yay!)

Guillermo del Toro's next movie is indie Saturn and the End of Days. “It’s like, what would happen if the Apocalypse was viewed by you [while] doing errands. You go back and forth and nothing big happens except the entire world is being sucked into a vortex of fire.”

James Caan has walked off David O. Russell's political comedy Nailed... over irreconcilable cookie differences. On the first of Caan's two day shoot as a U.S. speaker of the house who chokes to death on a cookie, Russell wanted him to cough while choking. Caan argued [E: quite rightly] that the character couldn't cough and choke to death at the same time. Russell suggested to shoot it both ways, but Caan didn't think his version would get a fair shake and left. Caan's part will be recast.

Steven Soderbergh’s crime thriller The Informant has cast Thomas F. Wilson, Eddie Jemison, Mike O’Malley, and Andrew Daly.

Virginia Madsen will play Dorothy Binney in Mira Nair's Amelia.

Jordan McDeere, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Rebecca Hall, and Catherine Keener have been cast for writer/director Nicole Holofcener's untitled drama, "a tale of family, death and real estate." It'll shoot in New York starting May and hopes to wrap before the possible SAG strike.

Russell Brand and Jonah Hill have been cast in Get Him to the Greek, to be written and directed by Nick Stoller. "A fresh-out-of-college insurance adjuster who is hired to accompany an out-of-control rock star from London to a gig at L.A.'s Greek Theater."

Tia Carrere has been added to Hard Breaker.

Jesse Plemmons, Anna Faris, Michael Pena, and Ray Liotta have joined Seth Rogen in Jody Hill's comedy Observe and Report.

Harland Williams will direct comedy Wing Man. It shoots in Toronto this summer. That's all I got.
