Rainmaker Entertainment, Brighton Partners, and POW! Entertainment Inc. will partner for Stan "the hardest working octogenarian in show business" Lee's series of animated feature length superhero films, Legion of 5. Other than the fact that they'll have all the usual tie-ins, details are slim.
Okay more specifics on what's going on with Midnight Meat Train: It will go direct to DVD in Canada through Maple Pictures, but Lionsgate is "contractually obligated" for a theatrical release in America. Still no word on when though.
Viz will release Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody through NCM Fathom for a theatrical run of June 11-12.

Shooting on Lars von Trier’s Antichrist starts this summer in Germany. The psychological thriller is about a couple who, after the death of their child, go to a cabin in the woods to recover. Script by von Trier and Anders Thomas Jensen.
Shane Abbess will direct Universal’s science fiction thriller Source Code. Written by Ben Ripley, it’s a “time continuum story.”
Ronald D. Moore has a deal with United Artists to create and write a science fiction trilogy. Past that, details are slim.
